Kate East BA (Hons), PGCE, MSc, NPQH, CPsychol, AFBPsS
Kate has over 25 years’ experience of delivering education, social care and public health programmes both in the public and the private sector. She has a track record of delivering positive impact through setting strategy, implementing change and ensuring high levels of stakeholder engagement. Kate was previously an Assistant Director of Children’s Services in the South West responsible for school improvement, SEN, Early Years, Behaviour and Attendance. She has worked as an External Consultant on behalf of local authorities and central Government, which included working with academy trusts, early help providers and as Programme Director for the National Healthy School Programme. Kate was also a senior leader in an independent fostering agency, responsible for the therapeutic and educational support for children in care. Kate is a skilled chartered psychologist, has HCPC approval, and a member of British Psychological Society and Royal Society of Medicine.
